Transaction Terms for the purchase of products from Tailor 


The online store located at www.tailoritalianwear.com, www.tailoritalianwear.it and www.tailoritalianwear.gr, hereinafter referred to as "Site", is owned by the company Metapoiitiki kai Emporiki Endymaton Ltd., hereinafter referred to as the "Company" or "we", with registered office in Thessaloniki, 14 Palaion Patron Germanou str., 546 22, with TAX ID number EL998692101, Tax Office D Thessaloniki.

Please read these Transaction Terms carefully, as they contain very important information about your rights and obligations. By ordering the products you accept these Transaction Terms as a "customer".

The products included and displayed in the Site constitute a non-binding offer in order to invite the user to place a purchase order. The purchase contract is binding only after the Site has notified you that it has accepted the order. Confirmation of the order entry does not automatically imply its acceptance.

1. Methods of ordering


A. Order through the Site


Users can obtain the products they wish through the Site. In particular, you can select the products you wish and then place them in the online shopping cart.


For the submission of the electronic order of the selected products, the special order form available at the Site must be completed and sent.

Before placing an order, through a hyperlink, you are aware of and accept the terms and conditions regarding the sale of the products you wish to acquire. By this indication, you explicitly and unreservedly declare that before placing an order you have received knowledge of the terms and conditions and information for your transactions with the Site in a clear and comprehensible manner.


B. Order by telephone

You can also call +30 2310 250 509, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 20:00 CET (excluding public holidays) to place your order by telephone or video call. Once you have selected your products, we will send you a confirmation message with a payment link in order to complete your order.

2. Information - products (Prices and availability)


The Company is committed to the completeness and validity of the information provided in the Site, regarding the products, subject to any technical or typographical errors. We endeavor to provide constantly updated information about the availability of our products, however, the large number of products and orders may result in changes.


Any product offers that appear at the Site are always subject to the terms and conditions available or until stocks are exhausted.


In case you find that a product is offered at an unusually low or high price compared to its usual value, please contact the Company before proceeding with the order.


The prices of the goods shown are final, i.e. they include VAT. The Company reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Regardless of price fluctuations, the customer shall always pay the price agreed upon at the time the order is finalized.


In order to carry out transactions at the Site, the user is required to declare their personal data in it by filling in the relevant fields. By submitting the data you undertake that it is accurate and true and you accept that in case it is found that the true data has not been declared, the Company has the right to cancel the user's registration and refuse the sale of products.

3. Right of withdrawal / Product return


If the customer is a natural person (consumer) who concludes the distance sale for personal use and not for the service of his/her individual activity, then he/she is entitled to withdraw from the sale within 14 calendar days, returning the product in its original condition, bearing the return costs.

This right starts from the day of receipt of the products. The sending of the declaration of withdrawal or dispatch of the products within 14 calendar days will be considered sufficient for the timely exercise of the right of withdrawal. You can submit the withdrawal request through the relevant option in your account or by email to the email address: sales@tailorstores.com


The return policy for ordered and shipped products can only apply if:


• The product has not suffered any intentional or unintentional damage by the customer (including damage due to improper transportation, failure to remove the packaging carefully, improper use, etc.)

•  The product has not been used.

• The product is accompanied by its original packaging and all its contents.

•  The product to be returned is accompanied by a copy of the invoice or by the retail purchase receipt.

• The return is carried out with partner courier companies. In case of return by a courier company of the customer's choice, the cost is borne by him/her and the Company is not responsible in case of damage or loss of the product.


Please note that for hygiene reasons, returns on swimwear, socks and underwear are not accepted.


In case of valid exercise of the right of withdrawal and provided that the product has been returned to the Company, its value will be refunded to the customer. It is expressly agreed that the Company is entitled to deduct from the returned amount the return costs, which are borne by the customer as well as any compensation in the event of destruction or reduction of the value of the product due to wear or damage to the product caused by the customer's actions.


Depending on the payment method chosen by the customer during their order, the refund will be made accordingly:

• For an online Credit Card, the refund will be made to the card.

• For deposit you will need to provide us with the IBAN of a bank account, the name of the beneficiary as well as the bank to which it relates.

• For Paypal, a refund will be made via Paypal.

• Refunds are made within 10 working days from the day of receipt of the product.


For your convenience, in any case of return, please contact us first by telephone or through the Site and inform us of your intention to return.

Refunds are only for products, which have not been repaired, and were purchased through the online store and not through the physical stores.


Requests for a refund are processed within 10 days after the product's return receipt. Refund amount equals minus any possible freight charges applicable during the transaction. No refund can be issued for gifts and Gift cards.


Exchanges are not possible online, but you may apply for a return and place a new order.

 

4. Force majeure


We strive to always execute orders within the specified timeframes. If for reasons of force majeure (e.g. bad weather, strikes, etc) it is impossible to deliver the goods within the specified time, you can contact us for more information about the delivery.


5. Electronic Dispute Resolution Platform


The Site makes every effort to fully comply with its provisions of the Code of Conduct for E-Commerce (Government Gazette issue B’ 969/22.3.2017).


In this context, we inform you that as a consumer, you have the possibility of alternative resolution of consumer disputes that may arise from the contract for online sale of products from the Site, using the registered entities.


The Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform of the European Commission allows both European consumers and traders (suppliers) based in EU member states to resolve electronically disputes arising from online sales or service contracts.


Through the platform on the website https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr, a consumer can submit their complaint online and agree with the complaining supplier which of the recognized dispute resolution bodies will undertake the out-of-court resolution of the consumer dispute, which will be processed within 90 days of receipt of the complete file by the alternative dispute resolution body.

In Greece, the electronic dispute resolution process takes place without any financial burden.

The European Consumer Center of Greece has been designated as the national contact point for the Electronic Dispute Resolution (article 5b of the Joint Ministerial Decision under no. 70330off./2015 Government Gazette issue B' 1421). The out-of-court dispute resolution for all commercial sectors is carried out by the Independent Authority "Consumer Advocate", which is a recognized body for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.


6. Applicable Law


Any dispute between users and the Company is expressly agreed to be governed by Greek Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Thessaloniki.


7. Payment Methods

Our Site has two (2) payment methods:

1. Credit/debit card/wallets: Stripe payment service allows you to send your payments online for product purchases through the Site securely, using a credit or debit card.

Payment by installments is only available for cards issued by Greek banks.

The Site accepts payments via digital wallets such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Alipay, IDEAL, PayPal.

2. Bank Deposit: Payment for the products can be made by deposit to the Company's Bank Accounts. Upon completion of the deposit and within 1 day, the proof of deposit must be sent to sales@tailorstores.com for the order to be considered valid.

8. Shipping Methods

Shipping and return methods vary by country. The following applies to every country except for Greece and Italy, where special terms apply:

STANDARD DELIVERY FEE €30.00

We only offer an estimation of taxes and duties of importing your order in connection with Fedex. Actual costs may vary depending on each case, however they shall not exceed the amount estimated in check out. Upon arrival of your order, your local forwarder will contact you and help you complete customs clearance. 


We will inform you via e-mails about the status of your order, while you retain the possibility to be informed about the progress of your order shipment via the application of the respective partner carrier, through the tracking number you have received. In case you wish to send your order with another courier company, the shipping cost is borne by the recipient and the Company does not have any liability for any loss or damage to the products.

 

For the moment we do not deliver in Russia and Ukraine. Our sales are subject to forwarders and depend on common European directives meaning we cannot deliver in cases of sanctions applied or/and warzones and politically turbulent countries.


Please note that we don't ship to PO Boxes, hotels or freight forwarders. Please provide details of a valid permanent address.

 

9. Gift Cards

The following applies only to gift cards issued in Greece

You can purchase Gift Cards through the Site by selecting the amount, your message and contact details for both you and the recipient of the gift. You can schedule the time and date the gift card is sent and complete the transaction at checkout like any other purchase. Once you purchase the gift card, an email is sent to both you and the gift recipient. The sender receives confirmation and an invoice/receipt for the transaction. The recipient receives the gift card with its message and unique code for redemption.

If you have received a gift card, you can use it by purchasing products through the Site and paying for them by entering the unique gift card code during the checkout process. You can also use it in our physical stores, using the unique code at checkout and by showing any identification document/gift card receipt email. You can use your Gift Card for a period of 6 months from the date of its purchase.

The gift card is strictly personal. You can use it to buy for someone else, but no one else but you can complete the purchase.

A gift card can be returned if it is purchased online exclusively to the purchaser and not to the recipient.

A gift card can only be used to purchase Tailor products.

A gift card can be used more than once, as long as the value of the goods does not exceed the value of the gift card.
